OOTD: Kardashian Inspired

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I decided to do a Kardashian "inspired" look, because I love Kourtney's casual style. This outfit is not exactly what Kourtney is wearing, that's why it's an "inspired" look. xoxo-J

Wish List

Hey everyone...Ok, so here is my current wish list, yes current, I always WANT something! lol.. xoxo-J

Ok, so after 2 yrs. of searching for the perfect dining room set for us, I FOUND IT!!!! It's so perfect for the theme of our home, and the color is perfect. I just love the way it has the lion paws on the bottom of every chair, that's my favorite part! I need to have this ASAP!

This is the camera that I'm hoping to get in the near future. I sooo want this camera because the quality of the pictures will be sooo much better than what my current camera has. I would love to have this camera before my baby is born so that I can have nice quality, clear photos of him/her. This would also help with my blog pictures, allowing them to be of much clearer quality. Also, I just love the way the camera looks!!  It is a little pricey, but I wouldn't need another camera again for a LONG while!

To conclude my wish list, are these black leather cowboy boots! Love them! I'm from Texas so I have to have cowboy boots! I already have black ones but they are colored from the top. So I have been wanting just plain black boots for dresses, and these are the ones I love!.....  Thanks for letting me share my current obsessions with you all. What are your current obsessions??  xoxo-J

OOTD and 16 Wks. Belly Shot

Hey everyone, so as you know I am expecting my first child. I'm 16wks. and feeling great, but terrified of getting stretch marks on my belly. If you are pregnant or already are a mommy, please let me know what products worked for you. xoxo-J
Details: Top: NY&CO. Jean carpi's: Motherhood Maternity. Sandals: Merona

These are the products I'm currently using on my belly. So far the lotion has been working great. I've yet to get a stretch mark and do not itch at all. It doesn't have a bad smell and is not greasy at all.  The oil, however, DOES NOT absorb fast as it says. I'm not a fan. It does leave your skin very soft though, but I don't think I will continue to use it. xoxo-J

HOW TO make a Strawberry Chicken Salad

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to give you a very simple recipe to make one of my favorite salads. I literally crave this salad all the time! I make it as a quick lunch or dinner, you can also serve it to impress guests. Here is what you need. xoxo-J
Ingredients: Romain lettuce, fresh strawberries, queso fresco, pecans, any type of chicken [ it can be boiled, grilled, or breaded], and Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing. [any brand.. I just prefer Ken's]
Chop up the lettuce how ever you like. I made this salad for myself and I used four leaf's.
Then chop up some strawberries. [ I used about 5]
Mix the lettuce and strawberries.
Next, crumble the cheese and sprinkle the pecans. [as much as you like]
Finally, add 1 chopped up chicken and add dressing!
This is what the final product looks like! Enjoy! I hope you like it as much as I do! xoxo-J

OOTD : What to wear to a Baptism.

This past weekend, my husband and I baptized my best-friend's little boy. It was a blessed day with perfect weather for the occasion.
When you attend a baptism, you want to dress conservatively. I would suggest covering your shoulders and decolletage area. Do Not wear flashy, revealing clothes. You can't go wrong with black, it's flattering on all body types and very classic.I did go big on my necklace and cocktail ring, to balance out the simplicity of the dress. I curled my hair and kept my makeup and nails simple. Here is a picture of what I wore. xoxo-J
Details: Dress: Muse. Shoes: Nine West. Leather clutch: Kenneth Cole New York.
